What started as a love of the material became a shop New England keeps coming back to — one careful install at a time.
For more than twenty years, Dover Stone has fabricated and installed natural stone surfaces for homeowners, designers and builders across the Northeast — Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
We've stayed deliberately hands-on. The people who help you pick a slab are the people who template your kitchen, cut the stone, and set it in place. That continuity is why our seams disappear, our fits are tight, and our clients send their neighbors.
From our shop at 10 Rainbow Terrace in Danvers, we still measure success the old way: a countertop you stop noticing because it simply feels right.

Materials chosen by hand
We don't sell from a catalog photo. You see full slabs in person and choose the exact piece — its color, grain and character — that becomes your surface.
Service that stays personal
You'll deal with people, not a call center. We guide you from first idea to final walk-through, and we're still here if you have a question after install day.
The slab comes first, always.
Every project begins with the material. We help you look past the sample chip to the whole slab — how the veins run, where the movement lands, how the color reads under your light. Then we lay the piece out so the best of it ends up where you'll see it every day.
It's slower than pointing at a swatch. It's also the difference between a countertop and a centerpiece.

Fabrication and installation happen under one roof and one set of standards. We template on site, cut and polish in our shop, and install with our own crew — so nothing gets lost in a handoff and the finished job matches the plan.
We're fully insured, tidy on site, and respectful of your home and schedule from the first visit to the last.
